Educational trainings and resources are provided for families to learn about ASD and its impact on individuals and families. These trainings, conducted interactively via telehealth and at-home visits, aim to equip families with tools and strategies to support their loved ones both at home and within the community.

ABA

Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is a therapeutic approach grounded in the principles of learning, aiming to cultivate desired behaviors by systematically applying interventions that are informed by empirical research and tailored to individual needs and circumstances.

CMDE

Comprehensive multi-disciplinary evaluation (CMDE) assesses medical necessity and provides recommendations for Early Intensive Developmental and Behavioral Intervention (EIDBI), ensuring a thorough understanding of a child’s needs across various domains for effective intervention planning and implementation

SPEECH THERAPY

Speech-language therapy addresses the challenges with language and communication. Speech Therapy can help individuals with autism improve their verbal, nonverbal, and social communication skills. At Comfort Behavior Centre (CBC), the Speech therapist team collaborates with the ABA team to create and implement an individualized care plan for each client’s communication goals.

TELEHEALTH

Telehealth services offer families flexibility by enabling remote access to BCBA and other professional services as specified in their treatment care plan, ensuring convenient and effective support tailored to individual client needs.

In-home service

Home services provide families with flexibility, allowing our clients to receive the necessary services in the comfort of their familiar environment. This approach ensures personalized care that meets individual needs effectively, fostering a supportive and conducive atmosphere for therapy and development.
